Office Planning – Have you Planned Your Reception Room for Everybody

February 4th, 2010 Ken Turner No comments

If you got the postcard in the mail recently, it asked:

“Do you hold your breath when a 500 lb. client sits in one of your 250 lb. capacity chairs?”

One bariatric chair made a difference.

This one chair made a BIG difference.

Now all sizes of patients can wait in comfort while waiting for the doctor.

What is the impression you are making on your clients?

If you'd like to know more about these bariatric chairs, see this page

or email me: ken@turnerbiz.com

Thanks.

Office Managers can Breathe Easier

Do you hold your breath when a 500 pound client sits in one of your 250 pound capacity chairs?

Yes. Office Managers in Johnson City TN, Kingsport TN and Bristol TN/VA can breathe easier if they have at least one “bariatric” chair in their waiting room.

A bariatric chair is made for your extra large patients.

  • Wider between the arms: 30”, 36” or 42” wide
  • Larger weight capacity: 750 to 1,500 lbs
  • Heavy duty construction.
  • Especially designed to be easier to get in and out of.

Easy Office Space: How a small office gained without losing.

May 21st, 2008 Ken Turner 1 comment

The problem: This small but rapidly growing doctor’s office needed more space.

The answer: Expand Vertically!

Wall mounted cabinets and tackboards with task lights.

By making use of the vertical space over and existing work counter, they gained 22 feet of storage without losing an inch of floor space.

Along with the massive increase is storage for charts, binders and supplies, they also gained a wall long tackboard and task lights.

These task lights are located exactly where the work is done. They eliminate the head shadow that falls on your main work area.

And the cabinets really look good. Never mind what my pictures show, they really do look good. The office staff picked out a light gray fabric for the cabinet fronts and the tackboards.

This light gray tone doesn’t overpower the small office. The cabinets don’t intrude into the space. They almost receed into the distance.
